S t a r d u s t: G R A V I T Y E X P L O R E R
Explore, experiment, PLAY with gravity on an astronomical scale. Hit the Launch button to fire the stardust. Move the green Grav How much of the stardust can you direct into the rectangular Detector? Once you capture enough, click the Next Level button to try a new challenge. Or put on some good music, kick back, and just swirl. Enjoy! Stardust represents a new catagory of interactive program that I am interested in developing. I would like to combine the aspects of computer games, and computer creation tools. The game element gives the program some direction, there is a specific goal to work towards. One gets the satisfaction of a benchmark by which they can concretely measure their performance. The creation element gives one freedom. There is no competition. There is no getting stuck. In Stardust, one explores gravity. On the game side, there is the challenge of precisely directing the dust. On the creative side, one can experiment as much as they want with the swirling patterns left by the dust. Ideas for this program? Feedback on the game/creation tool concept? Found a bug? Drop me a line:Contact Topher |
